Football In plymouth,

what we do

Plymouth Hope FC is a not-for profit organisation run by a team of enthusiastic volunteers who all share a love of football and believe in social equality. We are made up of players from a variety of backgrounds and countries from across the world, who now all live in Plymouth, UK. Our diverse mix means that we play with a unique style and flair, like no other!

Our goals

diversity

Some of us have come to Plymouth through difficult circumstances, some us of us have grown up and lived in Plymouth all our life. To us, your background doesn’t matter.
We want everybody, regardless of; age, gender, religion, race or ethnicity to have the opportunity to play for a football team that welcomes them with open arms.

affordability

The majority of our players have very limited access to funds or earning opportunities due to their status in the UK, therefore we aim to provide free or low cost activities. For those who can and/or are earning a wage, we ask them to contribute to the costs of running the football club.

Our adult sessions offer a variety of different footballing activities
to suit your tastes and levels of commitment. As well as offering regular
training sessions, we have a team currently playing in Division One
of the Plymouth & West Devon Football League on Saturdays
and two Futsall teams playing in the FA league on Sundays.

Our weekly youth sessions gives those aged x-18 the chance to
develop their football skills with our FA accredited coaches.
We offer these sessions for free as we want to encourage as many young
people as possible to participate in regular sporting activities.
All our volunteers are DBS checked and we have trained safeguarding and welfare officers to
ensure a safe environment for all children and young people.
